In FY2025, the total number of occupational accidents occurred at all HOYA Group sites was 126 including 70 accidents resulted in leave from work.
For the purpose of preventing occupational accidents, the HOYA Group conducts daily safety and health activities by implementing risk reduction measures based on the results of risk assessment.
Additionally, the HOYA Group is globalizing with its production bases all over the world. In FY2013, the HOYA Group introduced a system for all group sites to effectively utilize information on occupational accidents, enabling the entire group to share information on all occupational accidents at all group sites.

*In accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), the HOYA Group has revised its method for compiling data on occupational accidents as follows, effective from FY2025.
1) The reporting period has been changed from January 1 to December 31 to April 1 to March 31 of the following year.
2) In the aggregated data of occupational accidents at HOYA group sites, we exclude accidents resulting from commuting.
