In 2024, total number of occupational accidents occurred at all HOYA Group facilities was 181 including 84 accidents resulted in leave from work.
For the purpose of preventing occupational accidents, the HOYA Group conducts daily safety and health activities by implementing risk reduction measures based on the results of risk assessment.
Additionally, the HOYA Group is globalizing with its production bases all over the world. In FY 2013, the HOYA Group introduced a system for all group facilities to effectively utilize information on occupational accidents, enabling the entire group to share information on all occupational accidents at all group facilities.
