HOYA Surgical Optics Announces Voluntary Recall of Some Intraocular Lenses
SINGAPORE, February 20, 2013 – HOYA Surgical Optics announced a voluntary recall of NY-60, iSert(R) 250, iSert(R) 251, Toric 311, and iSert(R) Toric 351 IOLs as additional action to an earlier suspension of shipments due to reports of higher than expected rates of inflammation and/or endophthalmitis from doctors in a few countries.
