Dr. Agarwal´s Eye Hospital, Pioneer in offering latest eye care in India in association with Hoya Lens India (P) Ltd. in Navi Mumbai, has launched Customized Lens – Hoyalux iD with True View (Digitized Optics Dispensing System) for the first time in India. It was formally inaugurated by Worshipful Mayor Thiru Ma. Subramanian and His Excellency Mr. Kazuo Minagawa, Consul General of Japan in Chennai in the premises of the hospital. This launch of Hoyalux iD with TrueView brings in the advanced optic technology that makes vision through the progressive lens not only clear but comfortable in terms of widen visual field, free from wavy effects for presbyopic crowd.
Dr Agarwal´s Eye Hospital in association with Hoya Lens India has set up Hoyalux iD with TrueView Lounge, a complete setup to provide the customized progressive as well as monofocal lens for clear vision with hospitality. The lounge dispenses Hoyalux iD lenses that have integrated double surface design which reduces the insecure feeling of senior citizens while looking at the floor, down steps or in oblique direction. One gets benefited from Lens due to wider visual field and no wavy effect for all distances when compared to conventional progressive lens.
TrueView, Digitized Optic Dispensing System, set in a separate cabin has 3 dimensional measuring systems that clicks photograph of the person in different angle and creates prescription based on 14 different pre-determined parameters which makes the lens customized to individual eye. The demonstrator present along with the machine not only demonstrates the refractive error condition, different corrective measures for it but also suggests the best possible option for the first time wearer of progressive lens.

His Excellency Mr. Kazuo Minagawa, Consul General of Japan in Chennai, said “I am delighted to be part of this new initiative providing the customized lens for clear vision with hospitality.”
