Brand Movie Released

We have released a new brand movie that conveys our corporate philosophy and vision for the future on June 30, 2025.The theme of this movie is “OPT = choosing.” ‘OPT’ has the meaning of “choosing with will,” which also overlaps with HOYA’s core business areas of optics and ophthalmic.

HOYA develops products and services in a wide range of fields, including life care and information technology, based on its optical excellence. We have contributed to society through technologies that support our lives and industries, from eyeglass lenses and contact lenses to photomasks for semiconductor manufacturing.

This brand movie introduces some of these diverse businesses and expresses HOYA’s values through imagery centered on the theme of “choice.” Rather than providing direct explanations, the movie conveys its message through its composition and flow, allowing viewers to deepen their understanding and empathy for HOYA’s initiatives.
